- Properties:White crystalline powder, soluble in water and alkali, insoluble in acetone.
- Application:Used as a precipitant, catalyst, and molybdenum salt for the production of alkaloids, inks, fertilizers, molybdenum red pigments, and sun resistant pigments. It can also be used to manufacture flame retardants and metal inhibitors for pollution-free cold water systems. It is also used as a galvanizing, polishing agent, and chemical reagent.
