Dissolve in water, ethanol, and acetone. Insoluble in nitric acid, oxidizing, can cause combustion when in contact with flammable materials, corrosive, and can cause burns.
• Application： Used as an analytical reagent and as a chromogenic reagent in thin layer chromatography for detecting diphenylamine. It is also used as fireworks material and in the electronics, instrumentation, and metallurgical industries.
