- Properties：Rose pink to almost white powder, soluble in dilute acid, insoluble in water and ethanol.
- Application：Manganese carbonate is a raw material for manufacturing soft magnetic ferrite for telecommunications equipment, synthesizing manganese dioxide, and manufacturing other manganese salts. Used as a catalyst for desulfurization, a pigment for porcelain glazes, coatings, and varnishes. Also used as fertilizer and feed additive. Used in medicine, welding electrode accessories, etc., as a raw material for producing electrolytic manganese metal.
